It is not uncommon to have a client request an interior that looks just like RL, with the bookshelves being the most popular design aspect specified. As soon as you walk in the door you are overcome with a feeling of comfort and luxury. It has an elegant sophistication that is neither stuffy nor formal, but is perfect for very special occasions. It's this seemingly effortless chic that makes RL such a popular staple in the Chicago restaurant scene.
Best Seat In The House is booth number 1, in the corner of the bar. Ensconsed in a supple saddle leather settee you have a perfect view of the entire bar and the front door. RL being a hotspot for celebrity sightings makes this a very valuable view to people watchers. In the past couple months we have spotted the Chicago Mayor, Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks from this spot!
